Event: 15th Annual Mutt Strutt, Coyote Point Park, San Mateo, CA. Aug. 15, 2009

Though he looks like a Greyhound but he's not! I had made that mistake while I met him. This beautiful dog wearing his new collar-The Chief-my 1 1/2-inch Martingale-is a Saluki mix.


Little Mingo, our friend and leader of the San Francisco Chihuahua Group, came out to support the Peninsula Humane Soceity & SPCA. We had a wonderful visit!


This cute labradoodle had just gone swimming! He patiently waited and posed for photos while his owner shopped!

Flyball! These athletic dogs and their handlers defined and demonstrated teamwork. It was amazing to watch them compete!


Tired after participating in the 1K walk around the park, this pug rested while his owners shopped at vendors' booths.
